What if I’m not “sexy” or don’t know how to be?

Absolutely. Velvet & Reverie is an inclusive, body-celebrating, identity-affirming space. No matter how you identify, you are seen, respected, and honored here.

I’m LGBTQIA+. Am I welcome?

You’ll attend a virtual image reveal on the date of your session, from the comfort of your home. It’s a beautiful, emotional part of the journey — and yes, tissues are encouraged.

When will I see my photos?

We kindly ask that you come solo — we’ve found that the experience is more empowering, focused, and personal that way. Our space is built to hold just you and your story.

Can I bring my partner or friend?

We’ll guide you through outfit ideas based on your personal style and comfort level. From lacy bodysuits to cozy sweaters, the goal is to feel like you, elevated. A detailed prep guide & pre session planning call will walk you through every step.

What should I wear for my session?

Relaxed, uplifting, and entirely centered on you. From the music playing to the energy in the room, this is your space to show up as yourself. We keep things lighthearted, empowering, and fun — with space to be quiet, bold, emotional, or silly. However you arrive is enough.

What is the vibe of the session?

Absolutely not. What you wear (or don’t) is entirely up to you. Whether it’s a cozy sweater, a favorite bodysuit, or nothing at all — the goal is for you to feel like you.

Do I have to get fully undressed?

Yes — every image you receive is professionally retouched with the same care and polish you’d expect from a magazine. That means skin is smoothed, distractions are removed, and colors are perfected. What we don’t do is alter your body’s shape or size. You’ll still look like you — just with beautiful lighting, intentional posing, and a polished finish.

Will you edit my images?

Only if you say yes. Your privacy is always the priority, and I’ll never share anything without your written permission.

Will my photos be shared?

Totally. Almost everyone feels a little nervous at first. But within a few minutes, the nerves melt away, and something shifts — it’s empowering, freeing, even fun. You’re not alone in those feelings, and I’ll be right there with you through it all.

I'm Nervous, is that normal?

Nooo — you don’t. Boudoir is about celebrating who you are, right now. You are already worthy of taking up space, of feeling beautiful, of seeing yourself through a new lens. Before your session, we’ll talk through anything you feel unsure about — and I’ll guide you through poses that highlight what you love about your body. This experience isn’t about changing who you are — it’s about showing you what’s already there.

But... I need to lose some weight first.

You don’t need to! I’ll guide you every step of the way with flattering, natural poses that highlight your unique beauty. You won’t be left wondering what to do — my job is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and seen.
